The International Martial Arts Reseach Institute

The International Martial Arts Reseach Institute (IMARI) was founded by Dr. Ken Min in 1994 at the University of California at Berkeley’s Martial Arts Program (UCMAP.) A total of over 400 martial arts research papers have been written over the past 30 years for UCMAP and IMARI. A full database is available for qualified reserchers with written request to UCMAP.

Every two years IMARI publishes a monogragh containing between 15 and 25 of the best research papers submitted during that time. A limited number of copies of these monographs are available to qualified researchers. Interested parties should contact us if interested in obtaining copies.
