The UC Berkeley Martial Arts Program is pleased to organize another training and cultural program in Korea for early summer 2011. All are invited to participate.
This event is an excellent opportunity to take your training to the next level with multiple training sessions in a variety of Korean martial arts most days. We will also be attending and participating in the 2nd World Yongmudo Championship in Pohang. Plus, with the sightseeing visits, you’ll learn much more about the Korean culture and people.
Registration

Training
Taekwondo, yongmudo, judo, and kumdo comprise the bulk of martial arts training. All training sessions are led by experienced master instructors at Yong In University, Korea Institute of Sport Science, and Korea National Sports University. Participants even train alongside accomplished students (many of whom are national and world medalists in their chosen art) for exciting workouts every day.
Sightseeing
Included in the program are sightseeing excursions for participants to learn more about the culture of Korea. Visits to the Kukkiwon (the headquarters of Taekwondo), traditional folk villages, and the capital city of Seoul offer the opportunity to better understand the Korean people and culture.
